Abstract Submissions (oral and poster) - CLOSED

  1. Details on the oral presentation process and poster presentation details (size, instructions etc) will be provided after March 1st 2018. 
  2. Notice of selection will be given no later than the 9th March 2018 - including the time of presentation in the conference.
  3. Abstracts should be submitted online via the submission system. The direct link to the abstract submission system can be found below.
  4. Abstracts should be no longer than 250-300 words and be structured to include the following sections: Title, Authors and affiliations, Aim and objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion, Funding statement.
  5. All submitted abstracts will be forwarded to the ENSP Scientific Committee for their consideration. All abstracts must be scientific and not narrative. All submitted abstracts are reviewed based on scientific strength, methodology and originality of the findings.
  6. Authors may indicate if they prefer an oral or a poster presentation, with the Scientific and Organising Committee reserving the right to allocate abstracts to either oral presentations or poster sessions.
  7. At least one author of each abstract must have registered for the ENSP Conference on Tobacco Control 2018 as a delegate.
  8. A maximum of four abstracts may be submitted by the same presenting author.
  9. Accepted abstracts will be published in a supplement of the June 2018 edition of the ENSP journal, Tobacco Prevention & Cessation (ISBN: 2459-3087).  Authors of accepted abstracts will be requested to complete an ICMJE conflict of interest form. Copyright will remain with the authors under a Creative Commons CC-BY-NC license.
  10. The duration of oral presentations will be 15 minutes maximum.
